Home Donations in Memory of Jeff Shockley

Several lives throughout the regions of  Poteau, Leflore County, and the state of Oklahoma were touched by the work and endeavors of former mayor Jeff Shockley. Jeff's passion for Poteau was found in several projects that he oversaw during his 20 years as mayor including the new Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, Patrick Lynch Public Library, renovation of downtown, etc... 

If you would like to make a donation in memory of Jeff you can do so at Poteau City Hall where a fund has been established. Your donation can be directed toward any fund you desire, however, the recommendation has been made towards a flag pole being placed at the Reynolds Center in Mayor Shockley's memory. Just be sure to specify where you want your donation directed when making it at the front with the Billing and Collections clerks.
